Artist’s Note

The Concept of Time

The foundation of this piece is the energy of the earth.

I painted it while feeling that I didn’t want to be swept away—
neither by reality nor by my own thoughts.

The energy felt like a gentle reminder:
“Don’t rush. Don’t rush.”

But when the piece was finished,
it had moved entirely into the universe.

It reminded me that time doesn’t truly exist.

Timing will always come.
The only difference is whether you wait while feeling rushed,
or wait without rushing at all.
