Sound Dragon

Listening to the sound of a singing bowl,
I translated the movement of my cells into color,
and shaped it into a dragon—
like a fetus, still forming.

Invisible sound rises,
borrowing the shape of a dragon as it dances.

It might be a heartbeat.
It might be someone’s voice.

This dragon exists
to awaken the resonance inside you.

Sound is vibration.
Vibration is energy.
And energy
is always right beside you.

Photos 2 and 3 show the changes in light,
taken with and without sunlight.
